Lisa Schneider, Executive Director, Respite Care Association of Wisconsin (RCAW), will give an overview of new respite care training, registry, grants, and other programs available statewide.
Michael Blumenfeld, WPSA Legislative Consultant, will discuss the changes to Wisconsin state Government brought about by the 2018 Election and how these changes will impact DHS, DWD, personal care policies, and what the Governor's proposed budget means for this industry.
WPSA will have a "Time for Networking" session to discuss with members the Governor's Budget, EVV, Personal Care Rates and Rules and talk about how what we can do to have an impact on improving the workforce crisis and other concerns.
WPSA Legal Consultant, Diane Welsh, will present updates on Legal and Compliance Issues.
